About the role
As a full-time Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's supply chain and transportation operations. This position is based in the Tai Seng North-East Region and involves overseeing the efficient movement, storage and distribution of the company's products.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods between company facilities and customers
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is available to meet customer demands
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers to facilitate timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipments, deliveries and inventory
- Identify opportunities to optimise logistics processes and recommend improvements
- Assist in the implementation of new logistics systems and technologies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably within the retail or consumer products industry
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Proficient in using logistics management software and MS Office applications
- A keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement
