Job Scope
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Officer to oversee and enhance our logistics operations and administrative functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and seamless coordination between various departments to support our business strategies and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Coordination:
- Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with the SG logistics management team to maintain effective warehouse operations.
- Support regular stock takes and inventory audits to inform business strategy and support sales success.
- Strategic Material & Stock Coordination:
- Work closely with the internal Sales and Operations teams, including PMC, Sales, and Product teams, to ensure a stable supply chain and product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within logistics and warehouse operations.
- Implement solutions to enhance efficiency and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Customer Success Advocacy:
- Ensure accurate and timely order execution and delivery management.
- Act as a liaison between logistics and customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operational tasks:
- Prepare and manage shipping documents, including invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including booking meeting rooms and updating calendars.
- Assist in planning logistics for warehouses, transportation, and suppliers.
- File and store up-to-date documents and manage administrative duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisory or management personnel.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a diploma related to supply chain, logistics, or management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to work both independently and as an effective team member
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English will be advantageous as this role involves liaising with our associates in China
- at least 2 years relevant experience
