Purpose of Job
To conceptualise, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate initiatives relating to fundraising, as well as donor, partner, volunteer engagement and management and communications.

Scope
Fundraising
- Conceptualise, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate fundraising strategies and initiatives.
- Plan, manage, and execute fundraising projects within approved budget and timelines.
- Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based donor management solutions to enhance operational efficiency and ensure IT security of the organisation’s donor database.
- Raise funds through sourcing sponsorships and donations from individuals and corporations.
- Develop compelling proposals and appeal letters to attract donors, including applications for funding grants.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective individual and corporate stakeholders.
- Maintain and grow the donor database to support digital giving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, charity regulations, and all relevant statutory requirements in Singapore.
Volunteer Management
- Conceptualise, develop, and implement volunteer programmes and events within approved budget, funding mechanism, and timelines.
- Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based volunteer management solutions to enhance operational efficiency and ensure IT security of the organisation’s volunteer database.
- Match volunteers to organisational needs while aligning with their skills and interests.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies, including screening, interviewing, and orientation of volunteers.
- Identify and establish training platforms for volunteers, and train staff on volunteer management practices.
- Plan and organise volunteer engagement initiatives, including the annual volunteer appreciation event.
- Manage volunteer registration, duty rosters, resource allocation, and participation tracking.
- Supervise volunteers and ensure quality standards in service delivery.
- Raise public awareness of the organisation’s volunteer programmes.
- Develop and maintain volunteer programme resources such as application forms, policies, procedures, and orientation materials.
- Manage volunteer communication, including emails, EDMs, invitations, newsletters, and related collaterals.
Communications
- Proactively engage with online communities across multiple platforms, leveraging social media monitoring tools to track conversations and report on metrics.
- Support the planning, design, and production of publicity and marketing materials.
- Maintain and regularly update the organisation’s website and social media platforms.
- Manage corporate communications, including public relations, media relations, and social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletters, and press releases.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to promote the organisation’s programmes and services.
- Network and build relationships with stakeholders, community partners, and social service agencies.
Other Duties
Perform any other duties as assigned to support the organisation’s mission and objectives.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience in community partnership and fundraising within social service agencies and/or IPC charities preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate and present confidently.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage and track multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Passionate about engaging stakeholders, with good interpersonal skills.
- Open to learning and receptive to guidance.
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement and event management.
- Able to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
