Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandise Strategy & Development:
Lead the development, curation, and management of the merchandise store.
Collaborate with design and product teams to develop a distinctive, on-brand merchandise collection.
Oversee product sourcing (preferably China market), supplier management, and quality control to ensure that all products meet brand standards.
Maintain inventory and manage stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
Develop pricing strategies and manage promotions for merchandise.
- Content Creation & Strategy:
Create engaging, on-brand content for all merchandise marketing, including product descriptions, photography, videos, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
Work with Head of Brand to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity across all content related to merchandise.
Plan and execute creative campaigns for new product launches, seasonal collections, and limited-edition items.
- E-commerce Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the online store, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for customers.
Manage product uploads, updates, and optimisation of the e-commerce platform.
Analyse sales performance and customer data to inform future product offerings and content creation.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
- Brand Alignment:
Work closely with the Head of Brand and marketing teams to ensure merchandise and content align with overall brand vision and messaging.
Partner with external collaborators and influencers to promote merchandise in line with the brand strategy.
- Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor merchandise sales and content engagement, using analytics tools to track key performance indicators.
Provide regular reports on performance, sales trends, and offer insights for refining strategies.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce, content creation, and merchandise management (preferably within retail or a startup environment).
- Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and social media marketing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- A creative mindset with the ability to translate brand vision into merchandise offerings and content.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
