Pandora is looking for a Merchandising Director to lead our merchandising strategy in the Asia Cluster. This is a high-impact role within our Merchandising department, based in the region and reporting directly to the General Manager. With managerial responsibility and a scope that includes regional travel, you’ll be at the forefront of driving financial planning, product performance, and strategic growth across all collections and channels.
As Merchandising Director, you’ll lead a team of talented merchandising professionals and work closely with both global and regional stakeholders. Your mission will be to ensure our product offering is not only aligned with Pandora’s brand values but also tailored to meet the evolving demands of the local market. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping Pandora’s commercial success across the Asia Cluster. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of merchandising activities—from assortment planning and financial performance to team development and cross-functional collaboration. Your ability to translate insights into action will be key to driving growth and ensuring our product offering resonates with customers across diverse markets.
Merchandising Strategy
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to guide product assortment decisions.
- Identify growth opportunities at store level across product, category, collection, and metal.
- Implement local merchandising tactics to complement global visual merchandising and training.
- Focus trading efforts on high customer acquisition-driving products.
- Benchmark performance across clusters to identify strategies for growth.
- Provide input on assortment and operational activities for new store openings and relocations.
Financial Performance
- Monitor and adjust strategies to meet sales and profitability targets.
- Manage the merchandising budget and drive a 3-year collection and category plan.
- Own gross margin and price change implementations.
- Optimize promotional strategy and retail discounting to maximize commercial impact.
- Lead cross-functional forums to commercialize insights and drive productivity across channels.
Pricing & Promotions
- Develop and execute regional pricing strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
- Design and implement promotional plans that drive commercial impact and support business objectives.
- Monitor pricing effectiveness and adjust tactics based on performance insights and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing and promotional activities with broader commercial strategies.
Inventory Management
- Collaborate with global inventory and allocation teams to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting
- Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct market analysis to identify local product opportunities and brief global teams.
Brand Alignment
- Ensure all merchandising activities align with Pandora’s global strategy, brand identity, and positioning.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams to deliver integrated merchandising strategies.
- Communicate regularly with senior management on performance, trends, and initiatives.
- Conduct store visits to ensure strategy execution and alignment with retail teams.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing merchandising team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Economics or a related field)
- 8–10 years of experience in product ownership/management, with a track record of successful strategy development and execution
- Experience in the retail market with deep customer understanding
- Background in global retail, regional landlords, or commercial real estate agencies
