THK MC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THK MC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission - To Serve Mankind - to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THK MC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Role
We are seeking passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team supporting children across THKMC's early childhood and developmental programmes , including but not limited to EIPIC, DS-LS , and our dedicated paediatric centres, Children Therapy Spaces .
As part of THK Therapy Services , you will work alongside families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to empower children in developing functional independence and meaningful participation in daily life.
Therapists may be deployed across centre-based or community-based paediatric programmes depending on organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and provide goal-directed occupational therapy interventions for children with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional challenges.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and team members in designing and implementing Individualised Intervention Plans (IIPs) .
- Deliver therapy through individual or group sessions in classroom, centre-based, or community settings.
- Provide home programmes and caregiver training to support the child's development beyond therapy sessions.
- Participate, where applicable, in multidisciplinary case discussions to support holistic care planning for the child.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Fully registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) , Singapore.
- Passion for working with children and their families.
- Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, early childhood intervention, or special education settings (e.g., EIPIC, DS-LS, SPED) is advantageous.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in paediatrics are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, with a proactive and positive work ethic.
