Job role and responsibilities:
- Handle shipment bookings
- Check requirements with relevant parties to ensure all the appropriate documents (eg insurance, licences, customs forms, PM4 applications) are in order
- Prepare and generate documents such as Cargo Manifest, Bill of Lading, Customs Permits for Import/Export/Transhipment
- Prepare Delivery Orders and/or Shipping Orders
- Liaise with relevant parties on cargo conditions/cargo movements/equipment (containers, trailers, lowbeds, lorries) requirements etc
- Booking of berth
- Handle vessel crew matters
- Perform administrative functions such as photocopying of documents and filing of records Generate reports as required by various agencies
Job requirements:
- Min GCE "O" Level or equivalent
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Great accuracy and speed in typing Able to work overtime as and when required
