About the Role:
You will work within an international team leveraging our strengths in coal to expand into steel raw materials such as iron ore, scrap and steel. The deliverables will include daily and weekly price gathering and regular market intelligence updates on market-relevant information.

You Will:
Gather daily price information for major seaborne iron ore prices
Develop a strong contact base in the Singapore iron ore trading community and develop regular engagement with key contacts.
Garner market intelligence covering, inter alia, shifts in consumption patterns of iron ore, impacts of policy and macro-economic conditions, developments in the steel sector
You Have:
Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
Undergraduate degree in Journalism, English, Finance or Business.
2-4 years of experience in commodities. Iron ore or ferrous markets experience is a bonus.
Experience with spreadsheets and commodity data analysis
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage market participants daily and build lasting industry relationships
Curiosity about markets and news is essential
