Responsibilities:
- Negotiation on the freight rates with carriers/ feeders for SOC & COC rate
- Work on cost to provide sharp rates with profit guidelines.
- To coordinate with the respective trade teams in developing the outbound business from APAC to the rest of the network.
- Knowledge & ability to independently handle pricing for all projects, including Spot requests & Tender RFQs generated by sales teams across the region.
- To ensure timely responses and quote submissions to each and every network office for RFQs and business enquiries.
- Plan, schedule and find the best logistics solution to meet customer delivery commitment.
- Carry out cost savings measure and enabled the company to achieve an increase on 50% in profit
- Assist the Trade Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service.
Requirements:
- Min 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Preferably Junior to Executive specializing in purchasing – Corporate, Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum GCE O Level
