Purpose:
Provide support to the sales operations team by understanding the supply chain, building strong relationships with stakeholders, executing governance and controls and proposing alternative controls or simplification opportunities. Pivotal to the role’s success is understanding freight market dynamics in the region and synthesizing market intelligence from freight team into a clear view on the impact on scheduling activities.

- Understands CT contract setup/DTS/TPL, governance controls (including external regulations) and executes controls diligently
- Proposes alternative controls or simplification opportunities when governance/compliance framework seems ineffective
- Understands freight market dynamics in the region and is able to synthesize market intelligence from freight team into a clear view on the impact on scheduling activities

Qualifications
At least an honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
Experience & Technical Competencies
- A minimum of 4 years of experience, strong academic qualifications and a demonstrable track record in mining industry
- A track record of working in the rail/port/freight company
- Deep understanding on supply-chain-optimization in rail/port/freight operations
- Well-developed understanding of Mitsubishi Corporations policies and communication protocols for effective stakeholder management and collaboration.
- An extensive knowledge on SAP
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
