The Regional Retail Operations Manager has a supporting role for the region, coordinating between HQ and subsidiaries on all aspect of retail operations. He/She offers a constant support to the retail network on all processes and tools to improve in-store operations, both back-office (stock and admin) and front office (sales and service), supply chain (including warehouse), and to deploy omni-channel with them
RETAIL OPERATIONS
- Define regional strategy for efficient operations across 5 retail domains (stores, warehouses, ecommerce, Call Centers and Aftersales) while preserving Group core models
- Define and arbitrate regional and local deployment priorities to accompany subsidiaries’ development while preserving a consistent regional’s strategy (10 countries, 33 stores, 7 ecom)
- Continuously improve and transform the operations (in stores, at the warehouse, online, at call centers and in aftersales) to adapt them to new challenges and more specifically to SAP retail adoption Animate the Regional Operations community, including warehouse community and aftersales community, to ensure alignment and transversality
SAP TRANSFORMATION
- Anticipate the impact of SAP on local current operations (mainly stores, ecom, supply and warehouses)
- Mobilize and engage local stakeholders, promotes Retail SAP and ensures adherence to core model
- Arbitrate on process changes and priorities regarding local improvement requests
- Define and coordinate local action plans to mitigate risk on SAP projects and on local operations
- Propose adaptations to regional/local organizations, tools or process to new way of working with SAP Monitor local adoption and reports to local leadership/central team on adoption status, resistances/blockers and feedback collected from the fields
MANAGEMENT
- Manage at least 1 headcount, depending on needs
- Transfer knowledge on retail operations and transformation methodology
- Allocate projects and tasks within the team: smartOps 2.0, Care+, New guidelines for CRC, Ecommerce processes formalization, Warehouses extension, SAP dedicated stream, …
- Communicate and co-build and delegate
- Give priorities and arbitrate when needed Manage team budget
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in a luxury retail environment
- Retail and service oriented, with good knowledge of front and back office operations, acquired through previous experience in sales or operations.
- Strong project management skills and good analytical skills
- Cross functional working skills and good communicator (across multiple levels of management and ability to work with diverse cultures)
- Experience in leading transformation project.
- In depth knowledge of retail tools (eg. SAP, Cegid), IT savvy
- Hands-on and “can do” attitude, pragmatism and proactivity
- Rigorous, structured, organized and reliable
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage
