We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager & Business Development Lead to join our team. This dual-role position requires a dynamic professional with a strong understanding of Indian cuisine, exceptional operational leadership, and a proven track record in driving business growth within the food and beverage (F&B) industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing daily restaurant operations and strategically expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities
As the Restaurant Manager & Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for both the operational excellence of our restaurant and the strategic development of new business opportunities.
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Strategic Business Development: Identify, prospect, and engage potential B2B clients within the F&B sector, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, and food service providers. This involves targeting key decision-makers and stakeholders to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance sales and revenue. Conduct comprehensive market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. Formulate and execute effective sales strategies, preparing customised proposals that highlight our unique offerings and address industry-specific pain points for F&B clients.
- Negotiation & Collaboration: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve favourable outcomes while maintaining profitability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, culinary, and customer service, to ensure seamless client experiences and successful implementation of solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.
- Brand Advocacy: Develop an in-depth understanding of our restaurant's unique selling propositions and market positioning to effectively communicate our value. Stay informed on F&B industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
Restaurant Operations & Team Leadership
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, train, and motivate restaurant and junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications
We are seeking a results-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and is driven to expand our business. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in the F&B sales industry, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges, trends, and customer preferences.
- Proven track record in B2B sales within the F&B industry , demonstrating success in selling to restaurants, cafes, hotels, or food service providers.
- Essential catering experience is mandatory for this role.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value of our offerings to F&B clients.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Working Hours
This is a demanding role involving 12-hour shifts , with weekends as working days . One weekday will be designated as an off-day.
