For our group company, Neumann Gruppe Asia Pte Limited, we are looking for a Senior Accountant (f/m/d). The position will be based in Singapore. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the finance department by performing various accounting and financial reporting tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial operations within the organization.
Your responsibilities
You are part of the Regional Finance Shared Service team in supporting financial reporting, management reporting, and other finance-related tasks for NKG Companies in APAC.
Financial Management and Reporting:
Manage full set of accounts with support from Shared Service Accounting team
Handle monthly closing and group financial reporting submissions independently and in a timely manner
Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis between Actuals and Budget, Year-to-go projections and other financial key highlights
Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
Assisting in daily Cash Flow Projection, reporting and managing FX exposure
Assist in Treasury and banking administrative tasks
Co-authorize and verifying of payments for companies in Singapore, China and Australia
Auditing and Compliance:
Coordinate with statutory auditors for Annual Audit, Tax Audit and Financial Statements
Supports tax computation and compliance requirements
Supports Regional Tax Manager in preparation of TP documentation and other tax-related matters
Administrative and Team Collaboration:
Review and verify staff claims to maintain Accuracy
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain consistency and best practices, proactively driving improvements in finance processes.
Handle any other ad hoc assignments and projects as required
Any other tasks as per assigned by your superiors.
Your profile
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
A minimum of five years in an accounting role, with a strong preference for experience in the commodity trading industry.
Detail-oriented with a strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written English language skills; ability to speak other Asian languages will be advantageous
Strong knowledge of Power BI and Power Pivot will be advantageous
Personality: Keen to learn, Personable and Approachable
Teamwork and good collaboration skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the team in the region.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
