Our client is a fast-growing gaming startup based in Singapore, passionate about building engaging and immersive gaming experiences for players worldwide. As we scale our business, we are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and establish strong financial operations that support our growth.
Working arrangement: Fully remote/Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including AP/AR, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Singapore accounting standards.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, corporate tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Process & Systems
- Set up and improve internal finance processes and controls in a startup environment.
- Work with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial service providers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with leadership, operations, and product teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (startup or gaming/tech industry preferred, but not required).
- Solid knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, GST, and tax compliance.
- Passion for gaming and interest in the entertainment/tech space is a plus.
