Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Communications Director to develop and execute communications plans for both internal and external audiences
- Internal content creation for multiple channels to ensure employees are well informed and engaged
- Craft scripts and produce monthly management videos
- Contribute to the shaping of a positive employer brand among current and potential employees
- Engage with employees to unearth human-interest stories for internal/external publicity
- Work closely with marketing and social media agency to develop social media content consistent with company brand voice
- Post ad hoc service announcements on social media
- Draft media releases, actively pitch stories to the media and facilitate interviews
- Work with the Communications Director to manage company reputation online and in the media
- Monitor relevant trends and conversations and leverage them for positive visibility/publicity
- Manage events including launches, brand activation, public engagement
- Work with marketing and social media agency to ensure content on company website is current and accurate
- Liaise with government authority on media/communication related matters
- Support the broader work of the Communications and Customer Experience team including organising staff and community engagement events and stakeholder management
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in an internal or external communications role
- Marketing and/or journalism experience is a plus
- A knack for coming up with interesting story angles
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Competent in written and spoken Mandarin required with stakeholders
- Comfortable interacting with both rank and file and management
- Ability to use design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus
