We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Executive to join the Global Engagement (GE) Team. This role will provide necessary administrative support, care and governance for students to embark on overseas internships in accordance with university policies. This is also an entry role for the development of programme managers to lead overseas internship programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Operations and Customer Service Management
- Handle general enquires from the role base GE email account to help guide and address typical issues from our stakeholders.
- Execute Overseas Onboarding Procedures to ensure all students comply to the requirement of the Student Travel Policy, and receive the necessary support for their overseas internship.
- Assist in collating required documents and information to evaluate eligibility and process claims for student travel grant.
- Administer student feedback on overseas internship to measure learning outcome and satisfaction.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for info-sessions and recruitment events.
- Assist and provide support in managing overseas programmes.
Business Development & Stakeholders Management
- Assist to coordinate with partners on general administration matters and arrangement for info-sessions.
- Engage with students to provide guidance and support to resolve issues and document inspiring experiences that can be shared with the student population.
Strategy Management and Reporting
- Contribute to the review and improvement of administrative processes and system workflow.
- Assist to generate and collate data for strategic planning and report.
Initiatives and Projects
- Participate in new projects and initiative as assigned.
- Embrace technology and automation to help improve productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized tertiary institution or diploma from a recognized polytechnic.
- Preferably 2 years of working experience in the education sector, human resources and/or public services.
- Prior experience in programme management, event management and/or administrative function preferred.
- Prior experience in managing overseas or student programmes will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of the job market, hiring process and practices, job roles and requirement for some industries.
- Task driven and result-oriented.
- Able to work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Basic programme management and event organising skill.
- Organisation skills for administrative processes, extensive use of email, systems, basic data management.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Conversant with the use of technology to improve workflow (basic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS teams, etc.).
- Able to build basic processes to fulfil administrative duties and management of programmes.
