We invite suitable candidates to apply for the Student Administration Senior Executive role with our Postgraduate Office to provide support to the team on all Postgraduate matters.
Responsibilities:
- Assist on the admissions, course registration and exemption, orientation briefings, examinations, confirmation exercise, thesis submission, oral defence, Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC), Graduate Training Hours (GTH), Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP), compulsory seminar attendance, transferable skills workshops, leave and candidature matters, postgraduate outreach and publicity, website content maintenance, overseas conference processing, research internship programmes, 3MT, OPTA, Graduate Student Club, etc.
- Planning of examinations timetable and management of the whole examination process.
- Serve as writer for student handbooks, FAQs, instructions for students, contents for webpages, policy documents, standard letters, work processes and timelines, standard and non-standard replies, checklists, forms, etc.
- Answer admission-related and all postgraduate related enquiries.
- Assist in Research Integrity matters.
- General counselling of students with problems.
- Maintain proper and organized records for all work documents.
- Work closely with NTU offices, departments and other schools for all postgraduate academic matters.
- Timely update and maintenance of all graduate students’ data in the CCDS and OAS systems.
- Prompt processing of NG research students applications.
- Close liaison with OGEMS and One-STOP for online application approvals and student pass applications.
- Support the PGR team in events such as 3MT, Virtual Fair, Education Fairs, Orientations, Student Events, OPTA Seminars, etc.
- To understand, implement and manage the various scholarships and fellowships in CCDS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- IT savvy, proficient in MS Office applications and database management systems.
- Meticulous and organized, with the ability to multi-task.
- Proactive, analytical, and resourceful.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Good sense of initiative and responsibility and positive working attitude.
- Ability to manage stressful situations.
