Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily transport deployment for internal departments, including worker transport, material movement and sales shipments.
- Ensure all company vehicles comply with legal and safety requirements and schedule regular maintenance and servicing.
- Brief and supervise drivers to ensure they understand their duties and routes.
- Liaise with the Sales Coordinator to prepare delivery orders, tax invoices and forwarding documents for both local and overseas shipments.
- Follow up with freight forwarders to ensure all necessary PSA/DSA permits and import/export documentation are ready before dispatch.
- Oversee warehouse activities related to shipment preparation, including ensuring cargo is ready for loading/unloading by store personnel.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, such as driver's delivery orders, daily driver activity logs, daily shipment schedules, transport and shipment KPIs and accident reports/statements.
- Prepare and submit reports and documentation in line with ISO, SOP and customer requirements, meeting all deadlines set by management or clients.
Qualification Requirements
- Diploma holder and above with minimum 4 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse or transportation industry.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as the job entails frequent engagement with both internal and external users.
- Team player and the ability to work independently.
- Confident personality with strong business acumen and a self-motivating ‘can do’ mindset.
- Computer literate familiar in Microsoft office and outlook email.
- Possess a valid class 3 driving license and forklift license add advantage.
