The incumbent will be part of the Industry Outreach & Marketing (Partners Engagement) team with the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP).
Job responsibilities
The selected candidate will be required to:
- Plan and carry out industry and community engagement plans
- Deliver policies and programmes to employers and encourage them to adopt fair and progressive employment practices
- Build good relations with industry and community partners, business and trade associations as well as trade unions to promote TAFEP’s initiatives and programmes
- Organise seminars and training workshops
- Make presentations and conduct workshops /briefings
- Staff relevant meetings
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Employment Act is an advantage
- Have good analytical, writing and communications skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- People oriented
- Strong competency in MS-Office software is essential
- Candidates with more years of experience and ability to lead a team shall be considered for the senior position
The position offered will commensurate with individual work experience and suitability.
Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of TAL with an option to renew, contingent upon performance and subject to the organisation's needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
