Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and operate within the Bank’s network architecture, processes, and change management windows.
- Maintain and enhance existing network plans, LAN designs, configurations, installations, and deployments.
- Provide on-site client interaction to address complex solution requirements.
- Respond to and resolve escalated network issues and support client applications to first-line resolution.
- Escalate unresolved or complex problems to relevant third-party vendors or internal teams.
- Document standard operating procedures, installation guides, and troubleshooting steps.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Coordinate and guide junior engineers to meet performance and delivery targets.
- Contribute to high-complexity network design efforts and provide input on architecture decisions.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Routing Protocols: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with BGP routing .
- Data Center Networking: Proficiency in Cisco VXLAN EVPN or Cisco ACI .
- Switching & Routing: Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies .
- Load Balancing: Experience with F5 LTM .
- Traffic Visibility: Familiarity with Gigamon solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Cisco ACI Specialist) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
