Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Analyst with a strong background in ServiceNow implementations, especially in the public sector domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation, translating functional requirements into actionable technical specifications. Experience in CSM modules and strong collaboration with business and technical teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into ServiceNow use cases, stories, and solution design.
- Support development team with clarification and context throughout implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate delivered functionality against requirements.
- Assist with UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
- Work closely with BAs, developers, and QA teams to ensure solution aligns with business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain process and requirement documentation.
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Facilitate solution workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and government standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
- Promote reuse, maintainability, and modularity of delivered capabilities.
- Provide guidance on feature prioritization and scope management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting.
- 3+ years of experience working specifically on ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ITIL framework, and process modeling.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CSM
- ITIL v4 Foundation
