Technical Manager
Our client is a world leading polymer manufacturer company. They are looking for Technical Manager to lead Technical Engineering Section.
The role of the Technical Manager includes:
- Take charge of plant equipment and facility Preventive Maintenance (PM), manage the closing of work requests, support equipment modifications, and to plan SDM schedule and activities.
- Responsible for workplace safety and health activities in the Technical Engineering Section (TES)
- Lead and manage equipment related Exceptional Case Report (ECR) reduction and timely closures.
- Ensure full compliance with the company’s MS Control Systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage section budgets, manpower planning, and yearly plan.
- Develop and train staff to maintain a high level of competency and performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, with experience managing teams.
- Familiarity with ISO certification processes.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage tasks, resources, and manpower effectively.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Solid knowledge of chemical plant operations and safety (ESH) regulations.
- Safety-conscious, quality-driven, self-disciplined, and a role model to others.
- A resourceful, firm, and tactful leader with high integrity.
