Founded in 2018, Lendela is a fast-growing fintech on a mission to simplify financing and enable greater financial access. Our platform matches borrowers with personalised loan options through a simple application, empowering borrowers with choice and transparency while offering an alternative to the cumbersome and opaque traditional lending landscape.
Since our inception, we have facilitated over 400,000 loan applications alongside more than 100 lending partners. In 2023, we successfully raised US$5 million in an oversubscribed Series A to scale our unique model across Asia Pacific. Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a creative and driven Videographer / Motion Content Creator to bring Lendela’s storytelling to life through high-impact video and motion design. Based in our Kuala Lumpur office, you’ll play a central role in producing content that connects with our audiences, focusing on Singapore primarily.
You’ll work closely with our marketing and product teams to craft engaging video assets—from explainer videos and digital ads to TikTok content and user testimonials. You have a strong eye for storytelling and design, but also understand performance metrics and what makes content engage and even convert. Whether it’s setting up a shoot or animating micro-interactions, you’ll be hands-on across concept, creation and execution.
This role is ideal for a content creator who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is hungry to really be part of shaping a fintech brand. You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work cross-functionally with teams across offices and markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end production of video and motion content—from pre-production to post
- Create short-form and long-form videos across platforms (e.g. social, website, -email, app)
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise content that aligns with business and campaign goals and content strategy
- Deliver engaging TikToks, IG reels, and paid social content optimised for mobile-first viewing
- Edit and animate visual assets using “traditional” tools as well as AI support
- Plan, shoot and edit video content, including customer testimonials and internal brand stories
- Ensure consistency of visual style, tone and brand identity across all content
- Optimise content for performance, localisation and market fit
- Support visual content creation for ad hoc marketing needs (e.g. screen recordings, how-tos, UI mockups in motion)
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in videography, content production, and motion design
- Strong command of video editing and animation software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Figma is a plus)
- A natural way of leveraging AI to increase productivity and quality
- Portfolio showcasing a range of video work, ideally across paid social, product explainers and brand storytelling
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality content under tight timelines
- Familiar with adapting video assets for different platforms, aspect ratios and audiences
- Deep understanding of video content trends in Singapore primarily
- Strong sense of storytelling and ability to turn business ideas into compelling visual narratives
- Self-starter with a high degree of ownership, accountability and drive
- Fluent in English (Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong plus)
- Hands-on experience with filming (camera setup, lighting, audio) and directing talent (not required but strong plus)
