Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant / Accountant Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
Job Description
- Maintain full sets of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash transactions.
- Prepare and submit GST, CPF, and other statutory filings accurately and on time.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders when required.
- Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc financial projects and administrative duties.
Requirements
- Studied related field.
- 1 years of relevant working experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Meticulous, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of additional Southeast Asian languages will be an advantage (to liaise with regional clients), but not a requirement.
