Accountant (Manufacturing Industry)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with strong manufacturing costing expertise to oversee finance operations across Singapore, Malaysia, and China . This role plays a vital part in delivering accurate financial insights, optimizing cost efficiency, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely financial information to assist management in achieving strategic objectives.
• Oversee the company’s cash flow, manage daily banking transactions, and handle intercompany fund transfers across 3 countries.
• Perform monthly account closing and analysis, including effective evaluation of materials, labor, and manufacturing expenses.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
• Handle product costing, cost analysis, and margin reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Lead the annual inventory audit, ensure accuracy, analyze audit results, and address related accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
• Plan and implement tax risk mitigation strategies.
• Work with external auditors, tax agents, and authorities.
• Use financial data to highlight issues and improve company management efficiency.
• Implement internal controls, improve accounting processes, and train department staff for higher efficiency.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing with regional/multi-country exposure.
• Strong expertise in costing, cash flow management, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently under tight timelines.
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin (spoken and written) to handle internal communications and documentation.
