Job Title: Accounts Executive

Reports To: Admin Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the finance team in maintaining the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records (accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, etc.)
- Prepare and process journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Handle petty cash and monitor expense claims
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in filing returns (GST, TDS, VAT, etc. as applicable)
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial transactions
- Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Proficient in collections
- Use software (e.g., Xero and Corematter)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (freshers with internships may also be considered)
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and tax laws
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
