Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Acquisition Consultant to lead and optimize our efforts in sourcing, evaluating and acquiring life insurance polices for resale. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, strong financial acumen and a proactive approach to relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with policyholders, brokers and advisors to source for qualified whole life and endowment policies to acquire
- Negotiate purchase terms and manage the acquisition process from initial inquiry to closing
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth transaction flow
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with agents, financial planners and other partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sourcing strategies and opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
- Proven experience in a sales role
- Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills - comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport quickly
- Naturally sociable and outgoing; enjoys meeting new people and making connections
- Ability to originate deals through a variety of channels
- Skilled at building and maintaining professional relationships and networks
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work independently
- Confident and persuasive communicator, both in person and over the phone/email
- Comfortable attending networking events and client meetings
- Ability to handle rejection and stay positive under pressure
