As an Assistant Café Supervisor Trainee, you’ll support daily front-of-house operations while receiving structured training to grow into a leadership role. You’ll work closely with the Café Supervisor to ensure smooth service, maintain product quality, and provide an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and a desire to step into a management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily café operations, including opening/closing procedures.
- Provide warm, professional customer service at the counter and on the floor.
- Support and motivate the front-of-house team to maintain service standards.
- Help manage in-store displays and ensure proper presentation of cakes and products.
- Monitor inventory of retail and café items; assist with stock-taking and reordering.
- Handle customer enquiries and in-store service recovery.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the café space according to hygiene standards.
- Assist in managing order fulfilment, including packing and coordinating with the kitchen team.
- Learn and support administrative tasks, including staff scheduling and daily reports.
