About the role
You are responsible for enhancing skill sets of researchers in the directorate.
What you will be working on
- Identify the research skill sets to develop and source for suitable development opportunities
- Oversee the implementation of training initiatives
- Organise courses, seminars and engagement sessions for researchers
- Liaise with other agencies and departments to collaborate on training opportunities
Challenge(s)
- Maintaining deep understanding of research methodologies and skills
- Managing relationships with multiple stakeholders (WoG training agencies, foreign partners)
- Facilitating extensive cross-agency collaborations
What we are looking for
- At least 6 years of experience in training, teaching, research or Human Resource (HR)
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organisational capabilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge management expertise
