Assistant Restaurant Manager – Omakase Restaurant
Location: Dhoby Ghaut
Working Hours: 44hours per week (5 days in between mondays - sundays as per scheduled)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at our premium omakase restaurant . If you have a strong background in hospitality, exceptional service standards, and a keen interest in Japanese fine dining, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Lead and train front-of-house (FOH) staff to deliver impeccable guest experiences
- Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and handle service recovery when needed
- Liaise with kitchen team to ensure service consistency and omakase standards
- Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and ensure cleanliness and hygiene compliance
- Assist in scheduling, reporting, and performance reviews
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or F&B setting; fine dining or omakase background preferred
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
