Associate Lead Underwriting Governance

The purpose of this role is to support the Underwriting Governance function to ensure timely responses and adherence to underwriting and product governance and compliance/regulatory framework. Additionally, the role includes stakeholder management across the organisation to provide specialist and best practice advice to ensure compliance with local regulations and QBE policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure framework and processes are in place to monitor, review, analyse and report on regulatory developments and coordinate responses to regulators.
• Identify emerging regulatory trends and implications for the organisation and establish controls.
• Support the development, implementation and management an effective regulatory and governance program aligned with the organisation's strategy.
• Prepare presentations and supporting documentation as needed to support activities and progress reporting.
• Monitor and analyse global regulatory, industry and customer advocacy changes which relate to product / underwriting governance.
Engage, inform and influence key stakeholders to ensure regulatory risk is managed effectively.
