Summary:
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and managing 3D models using BIM platforms to support all phases of the project. This role ensures digital delivery is effectively integrated into construction coordination and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit MEP, and other BIM design/coordination software.
- Develop BIM capability for Architecture, Structure, MEP, 4D scheduling, clash detection, and construction planning.
- Support the Design Manager (BIM) in implementing and improving BIM processes within the engineering and planning team.
- Establish and maintain in-house BIM standards and modelling guidelines.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams for successful BIM execution.
- Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering, construction engineering, or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with BIM processes.
- Proficiency with BIM platforms such as Navisworks Manage , Solibri Office , VRCollab , or Navigator .
- Strong coordination, communication, and project documentation skills.
