Job Description & Requirements
The BIM Modeller supports design drawings production department in 2D and 3D for BIM submission, drawings coordination between Architectural / Structural / Mechanical trades in 2D and 3D for BIM submission. The incumbent is to train, QC and provide technical guidance to junior draftsman / junior modeller when required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To produce quality output of shop drawings with minimal supervision
- Accountable for the timely submission of shop drawing in 2D and 3D for BIM submission
- Ensure content’s accuracy and fluent presentation in shop drawings
- To ensure strict compliance of system on shop drawings
- To handle multiple project simultaneous
- To raise issue with superior on deviation from original design intent
- To sketch, build and generate schematic with in-house software
- To check and coordinate with Architectural / Structural / Mechanical service in 2D and 3D for BIM submission
- Maintain smooth communication to the supervisor and to all co-workers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess either a Degree / Diploma / Technical certificate of equivalent in Architecture / Mechanical / Civil or Building or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in drafting for Architectural / Structural / Plumbing / Mechanical Trades is required.
- Knowledge of Auto-cad and Revit 3D modelling is required.
