About the Role
We seek an experienced Core Banking Business Analyst with deep Temenos expertise to drive digital transformation initiatives. You’ll bridge business needs with technical solutions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations while optimizing core banking processes (payments, loans, deposits, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
Domain & Solution Leadership
- Analyze and document core banking processes (accounts, payments, loans, interest management)
- Lead requirement elicitation via workshops, gap analysis, and impact assessments
- Develop Temenos-specific BRDs/FRDs and align solutions with Basel III, MiFID II, AML/KYC regulations
Platform Expertise
- Configure and optimize Temenos modules (certifications preferred) using TIM methodology
- Evaluate alternative core banking platforms (Avaloq, Finacle, Flexcube) for integration needs
- Document controls for regulatory compliance (FATCA, PSD2) and audit readiness
Project Delivery
- Support core banking transformations, upgrades, and data migrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, QA, ops) in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) or Waterfall
- Coordinate testing (SIT/UAT), defect management, and cutover planning
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as liaison between business units (retail/corporate banking) and IT teams
- Translate technical constraints into business-friendly recommendations
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 5+ years in core banking domains (retail/corporate)
- Hands-on Temenos experience (modules, TIM methodology, preferred certifications)
- Proven ability to write Temenos-specific BRDs/FRDs
- Knowledge of financial regulations (Basel III, AML/KYC, PSD2)
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to Avaloq, Finacle, or Flexcube
- Background in data migration or core banking modernization
- Basic understanding of APIs, data models, and system integration
- Testing/QA coordination experience
