The Business Development Associate plays a key role in supporting management and driving the company’s growth. This role combines customer engagement, sales support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and long-term business success. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to gain exposure across different aspects of the business while contributing to strategy and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist management in daily operations, including sales, customer service, and administrative tasks.
- Engage with potential and existing customers to drive sales, introduce new products, and build long-term relationships.
- Support sales activities by preparing quotations, sending price lists, coordinating sample submissions, and following up on leads.
- Track and monitor project timelines (e.g., new market expansion, business initiatives) and provide regular updates to management.
- Interact and co-operate with various departments including purchasing, marketing, finance, and human resource departments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth execution of business activities.
- Prepare and maintain organized records such as statements of accounts, invoices, and customer correspondence.
- Participate in strategy discussions, contribute ideas for growth opportunities, and support the implementation of business initiatives. Gain exposure across different departments to build a holistic understanding of the company’s operations and develop leadership skills.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or Diploma in a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales support, or administrative roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Analytical thinker with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and dedicated, with a positive attitude.
