Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Car Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
- Repair or replace faulty components in the engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.
- Use computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Inspect, test, and repair electrical and electronic systems .
- Conduct test drives to verify the success of repairs.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs .
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards .
- Work as part of a team to improve workshop efficiency.
Job Requirements:
✅ Proven experience as a Motor Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician .
✅ Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques .
✅ Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment .
✅ Hands-on experience in engine repairs, transmission work, and suspension maintenance .
✅ Ability to interpret service manuals and technical diagrams .
✅ Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✅ Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
➕ Automotive Technician Certification (NITEC, WSQ, or equivalent) is an advantage.
➕ Experience with Hybrid & Electric Vehicles is a plus.
➕ Familiarity with European, Japanese, or Continental vehicles .
