Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the F&B industry. They are looking for a Chef Consultant (Sushi) to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the Central area – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Drive culinary innovation by leading new menu creations, revamping existing offerings, and planning kitchen setups for the brand.
- Uphold excellent food quality and hygiene standards, introducing regular menu updates that reflect market trends, seasonal produce, and customer preferences.
- Oversee the smooth execution of culinary projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and align with the organisation’s overall objectives, while working closely with various internal teams.
- Monitor and manage kitchen operations including food cost optimisation, waste minimisation, staff rostering, and profitability, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Organise and facilitate regular team meetings to foster clear communication and alignment across the culinary team.
- Collaborate with HR to design and implement training programmes on food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen management; conduct monthly sessions to enhance core kitchen skills.
- Contribute to broader business initiatives, including kitchen automation and other projects as directed by management.
- Perform all other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min 5 years in making Sushi with supervisory experience
- Computer literate will be advantageuos for paperwork/reports
