As the China-Related Marketing Manager, you will lead and implement marketing and business development strategies focused on the China market segment for our construction projects and services. This role requires fluency in Mandarin and a deep understanding of both Singapore and China business environments, especially within the construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies targeting Chinese-speaking clients, investors, and developers in Singapore and the region.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Chinese-speaking clients, partners, consultants, and government-related stakeholders.
- Support the company’s business development efforts, including tendering, bidding, and contract negotiations for China-related projects.
- Monitor market trends, client intelligence, and construction industry developments in China and Singapore.
- Localise marketing and promotional materials for Chinese-speaking audiences (e.g., brochures, websites, presentations).
- Plan and participate in exhibitions, networking events, roadshows, and delegation visits relevant to the China market.
- Assist in the preparation of bilingual proposals, pitch documents, and project presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, contracts, and engineering to align marketing efforts with project delivery.
- Handle translation and communication support during meetings, events, and written correspondence when needed.
Education and Experience:-
- Undergradudate and above
- Additional qualifications in Chinese Studies or International Business is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or client engagement.
- Prior experience dealing with Chinese clients or projects is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) – essential for liaising with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills with multicultural awareness.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business
