Contract Manager/Bid & Tender Manager (Piling/Ground Engineering)

Bid & Tender Manager with experience in the pre-contract and tendering phase of foundation piling, ground engineering , or geotechnical projects. This role will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of technically sound and commercially competitive bids for both public and private sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process for piling and ground engineering projects — from tender invitation to final submission.
• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, geotechnical reports, and BOQs .
• Coordinate with estimators, quantity surveyors, design engineers , and project teams to develop complete and compliant tender packages .
• Liaise with clients for pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications , and site inspections.
• Ensure all technical and commercial components of bids are submitted accurately and within deadlines .
• Maintain a library of past project references, method statements, HSE documentation , and bid templates.
• Track tender progress and provide regular bid status updates to senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering , Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering for piling, foundation , or ground engineering works.
• Familiar with bored piling, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and other common geotechnical systems.
