Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to menu and standards
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand expectations
- Assist with food prep, cutting, portioning, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support inventory checks and proper storage of ingredients
- Work closely with kitchen team and service crew to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or F&B setting preferred (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus)
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn Japanese culinary techniques
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
