We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer to lead transformative initiatives across both Capability Development (CapDev) and Operations & Support (O&S). Your Role
Capability Development (CapDev)
- Lead Digital Transformation Projects
Spearhead the design and deployment of next-generation IT solutions—such as a cutting-edge chatbot platform for IT service management, integrating speech-to-text capabilities and reimagining the smart contact centre experience.
Explore Emerging Technologies
Gain exposure to containerisation, AI, and other modern technologies while shaping scalable and intelligent service solutions.
Support Communication Modernisation
Drive the implementation and adoption of softphone systems to improve communication infrastructure and user experience.
Operations & Support (O&S)
- Optimize and Integrate IT Support Processes
Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and service quality. This includes reviewing and connecting internal IT service portals with external platforms to deliver a unified and intuitive user experience.
Leverage Data for Smarter Decisions
Analyse operational datasets (e.g., inventory data) to uncover insights that inform strategic and tactical decisions. Oversee software license tracking and renewal planning to maintain compliance and avoid service disruptions.
Deliver Exceptional IT Services
Manage and fulfill service requests such as device provisioning, ensuring timely and accurate support for end users.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in:
- Routing and switching
- Wireless networking
- Network security and virtualization
- Network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points) is an advantage
- Familiarity with government IT security policies and processes is an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
