Responsibilities:
- Preparation of various pastry & dim sum
- Ensure all dishes meet established standards for quality, presentation, and consistency
- Assist in the creation of new dim sum menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving kitchen supplies as needed
- Follow proper portion control and minimize waste
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Superior from time to time
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
