As the Commercial Delivery & Scalability Lead, you will act as the bridge between commercial teams, clients, and engineering. You’ll lead the standardization of delivery frameworks, align commercial ambitions with engineering execution using industry standard engineering quality metrics, and ensure engagements are appropriately sized, scoped, and delivered within budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Client‑Commercial-Engineering Partnership & Governance
- Works with clients, commercial and engineering leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment on solutions and reuse strategies.
- Ensures technical governance across projects, proactively ensuring consistency with enterprise integration strategy.
2. Enterprise Framework & Reuse Standardization
- Architect and enforce standardized delivery framework including API design, platform reuse, architecture patterns and others.
- Drive framework adoption via templates, enablement sessions, and documentation.
3. Industry Standard Engineering Delivery Approach
- To achieve DORA model principles—deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, mean time to restore—to shape both technical and commercial delivery strategies.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to prioritize features and reuse decisions based on engineering readiness and ROI.
4. Solution Scoping & Budget‑Aligned Sizing
- Participate in high‑level and detailed scoping sessions, evaluating build vs reuse decisions and sizing effort estimates (client and engineering).
- Align delivery estimates with budgetary constraints and commercial objectives, managing scope trade‑offs.
5. Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Oversee integration design and deployment standards, guiding both internal engineers and external delivery teams.
6. Risk & Continuous Improvement Ownership
- Monitor commercial delivery scope, KPI and delivery metrics, proactively identifying risks and areas for improvement.
- Implement standard post‑delivery reviews and feedback loops to refine frameworks and processes
