Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Drafting:
- Prepare detailed electrical layout drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, and cable routing plans.
- Develop and update electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Incorporate design changes, markups, and feedback from engineers or site teams into updated drawings.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain and organize CAD files, drawing logs, and project documents.
- Performas other duties as assigned.
Coordination:
- Liaise with electrical engineers, site supervisors, and other disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for technical documentation, equipment details, and delivery schedules.
- Track project progress and assist in preparing reports, schedules, and status updates.
- Support in managing RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and document control.
- Attend coordination meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
