- Analyze and resolve electrical anomalies onboard vessels, ensuring seamless operations.
- Perform specialized testing and recalibration of gas detection systems in workshop environments.
- Guide and oversee external contractors to uphold technical excellence and compliance standards.
- Support fleet operations by facilitating the procurement of essential electrical components.
- Deliver thorough reports outlining work completed and technical insights.
Requirements:
- Higher Nitec in Electrical/Mechatronic or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a Marine Service Engineer .
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong understanding of shipboard electrical systems, including engine control and alarm systems, fire alarm systems, CO₂/water mist systems, OWS/ODME systems, Ballast Water Management Systems, and cargo monitoring systems.
