We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Electric Vehicle (EV) sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for electric vehicles and a proven track record in sales management within the automotive industry. This position offers an attractive basic salary plus commissions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the EV sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the EV sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support EV sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese Principals and customers. Forecast and order correct quantities of EV.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and EV market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Analyse sales performance data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manage the EV sales budget and resources effectively to maximize ROI and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the EV sales process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive industry with a focus on electric vehicles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Deep understanding of electric vehicle technology, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales analytics tools.
- Class 4 & 5 of Driving License is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to read, write and speak Mandarin proficiently to communicate effectively with Chinese principals.
