WHO ARE YOU?
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire club's operation to ensure all departments function efficiently and cohesively. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, executing the club's strategic business plan, and driving overall profitability. The General Manager leads budget planning and financial oversight, while fostering a high-performance culture among staff. Through strong leadership and operational expertise, the General Manager ensures the hotel consistently meets its service standards and business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enjoys operationally leading a culinary team running a high capacity restaurant.
- Is highly independent and enjoys being hands-on in all kitchen operations.
- Is confident in managing stakeholders, both internal and external to the club.
- Establish connections with food and material suppliers in preparation for food cost budgeting.
- Ensures that all staff are properly trained and all have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
- Ensure food safety and food quality meet Singapore and brand standards such as but not limiting to HACCP.
- Is up-to-date on current culinary trends and looks to be involved, as a face-front figure in any community activities.
- Ownership of kitchen revenue, collaborating across different teams to ensure targets are met.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 8-10 years of experience within a 5-star/ luxury kitchen environment.
- Proven expertise in kitchen Sales and Revenue Management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- A positive attitude toward challenges and a strong drive to excel.
- Professional disposition with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
