Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandise Executive to join our team and support end-to-end merchandising and e-commerce operations across our themed retail outlets and online platforms. This role will be responsible for merchandise planning, inventory control, supplier coordination, visual merchandising, sales analysis, and digital fulfilment through platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and Shopify. You’ll play a key role in driving product performance both in-store and online while supporting promotional campaigns and external events.

Job Responsibilities
Merchandising Operations (Retail & Events)
- Plan and curate merchandise selections for Pororo Park, Tayo Station, and external events based on inventory performance and customer demand.
- Monitor stock levels, product ageing, and ensure timely replenishment and rotation using FIFO principles.
- Coordinate with suppliers and third-party vendors for procurement, pricing, delivery timelines, and consignment terms.
- Support in-store visual merchandising—ensuring products are well-displayed, visually appealing, and consistently replenished in accordance with layout plans.
- Conduct store visits to evaluate product performance, merchandising effectiveness, and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute promotional tie-ups, seasonal campaigns, and product collaborations.
- Manage end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of external merchandising events throughout the year.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly sales analysis reports, tracking performance across Pororo Park, Tayo Station, and external outlets; analyze sales trends, top performers, and campaign effectiveness.
- Submit monthly inventory reports to Finance and Management, including SOH, ageing stock, and restocking plans.
- Provide monthly reconciliation and revenue reports for consignment partners (e.g., Vitakids, Growing Up, Wunderfood).
- Compile detailed merchandising decks for management meetings, including budget comparisons, licensing updates, and action plans.
E-commerce Operations
- Oversee daily order fulfillment on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and Shopify.
- Monitor online inventory levels and ensure listings are accurate and updated with new stock arrivals and promotions.
- Respond to customer inquiries across online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Upload and maintain online product listings and manage monthly sales report downloads.
- Set up and manage periodic promotional mechanics and campaign settings on e-commerce platforms.
Administrative & Ad Hoc Tasks
- Attend monthly internal merchandise reviews with the Licensing and Marketing teams.
- Support in generating sales/event-based ad hoc reports as required.
- Execute any additional tasks as assigned by your reporting manager from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in merchandising, retail operations, or e-commerce. Fresh graduates with internship experience in similar roles may also be considered.
- Familiarity with online sales platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and Shopify is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and inventory reports.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic reporting tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
- Creative eye for product display and a strong sense of current consumer trends.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support ad hoc assignments and events.
- Able to work occasionally on weekends or extended hours during major events or stocktaking periods.
