Formwork Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings for project requirements
• Determine and cut materials to the required specifications using tools
• Construct and assemble the formwork into the ideal shape for concrete foundations
• Assist the workers by pouring the concrete into the formwork
• Remove formwork after concrete has dried, fill up the gaps to ensure it to be ideal shape
• Ensure formwork is in good working condition and safe to use for future projects
• Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintain the formwork and cutting tools are clean and safe to use

Requirements

• A formwork carpenter should be able to read and interpret blueprints/ construction drawings, measuring and shaping the formwork, setting up and dismantling the formwork

Pay: $550.00 - $1,040.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:
