Job Title: General Manager (Restaurant)
Salary Range: S$6,000 – S$8,000 per month
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and manage the restaurant team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business targets and profitability.
- Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure menu consistency, cost control, and timely service.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee inventory and purchasing.
- Handle HR-related matters, including recruitment, employment contracts, payroll, staff welfare, attendance management, and compliance with labour regulations.
- Oversee finance-related matters, including financial reporting, cash flow management, revenue and expenditure control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives and promotional events to increase revenue.
- Report regularly to the company’s directors on performance, sales, and improvement plans.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in HR and finance management is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, cost control, and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent preferred.
